Diamond Lake

Diamond Lake is located north of Spokane along the Newport Highway in Washington. The lake is home to Camp Cowles Boy Scout Reservation. The reservation is named after an early Spokane pioneer and supporter of scouting, William H. Cowles, Sr. Camp Cowles Boy Scout Reservation began in the early 1920s with the purchase of 80 acres of Diamond Lake waterfront. The camp now expands over 900 Acres and has over a mile of waterfront. In a typical summer, 1100 boys come to Camp Cowles for an experience of a lifetime, learning valuable life skills, making new friends, and having fun.
